Amidst a canopy of oaks, pines, and native cypress trees lay the expansive grounds of the Lake Nona Golf & Country Club. Surrounded by more than 1,000 acres of sparkling freshwater lakes, the 600-acre private residential golf club community offers an unrivaled lifestyle of luxury and tranquility, along with a natural beauty that is distinctly Central Florida.

Showcasing some of the South’s leading custom builders, Lake Nona’s collection of residences feature Mediterranean and French-inspired architecture and unparalleled lake and golf course views. Lake Nona’s 40,000-square-foot clubhouse serves as the social heart of the community, as it continually hosts events and activities for members of all ages.

The spectacular Tom Fazio–designed golf course consistently ranks among the top 100 championship courses in the US and is one that some of golf’s greatest legends call home. Maintained to the highest standards, the course’s layout has been carefully routed to highlight the purity of the landscape. Bi-annually Lake Nona Golf & Country Club is home to the Tavistock Cup.

Lake Nona Golf & Country Club hosted the Tavistock Cup in 2004, 2007 and will host it again in 2009.  This unique two-day competition pits the golf professional members of Lake Nona against their counterparts at Isleworth.  The tournament not only benefits the participants and spectators, but also the community with millions of dollars given to local and international charities annually.

Located in southeast Orlando, the Golf & Country Club is the cornerstone of the Tavistock Group’s 7,000-acre, mixed-use development plan for the area, which includes world-class educational facilities, a science and technology park, retail centers, and entertainment choices. Additionally, more than 40 percent of the region is being preserved as parks, lakes, and open spaces that can be enjoyed from a 44-mile trail system.
